Work in Belize

Belize has an economy based primarily on agriculture, tourism and services. Agriculture represents 70 percent of all exports and tourism is the country’s largest foreign exchange earner. Gross exports in 2011 were $606 million and imports $832 million. Belize’s largest trading partner is the U.S.,representing nearly 60 percent of exports and over 31 percent of imports.
