A View Abroad

Welcome to A View Abroad…the place to look for timely news, views, features and tips to help you get your move, live and work abroad adventure underway.

Unlike our more formal articles that feature interviews with credible experts you can trust for the very best information, A View Abroad will be my informal personal blog that you can never trust. Just kidding. I’ll blog on a wide range of moving, living and working abroad topics that are both timely and relevant. I’ll comment on breaking news that may impact your moving plans or affect your life abroad. I’ll present research study findings that will provide you with better insights on topics relevant to your move or life in your new country. And, I’ll cull excerpts from the best and most interesting articles being written about moving, living and working abroad today.

I’ll also let you know about newly posted articles you should read, country profile additions, new site features and anything else of MYIA interest you should know about.

A View Abroad is also a great opportunity for you to comment on a specific blog post, article, feature or just give us your feedback on what you like or don’t like about our website. Good or bad, we want to hear from you.

To kick things off, I’d like to talk about happiness. I’ve found that happy people are good people to be around. It just makes life that much better. My experience living in very friendly Puerto Vallarta, Mexico got me thinking about happiness in other parts of the world, so I found several interesting happiness studies that I will share with you in our first series of posts.

So, join us and stay up-to-date with A View Abroad. And, don’t forget to let us know what you think!
